Michael Raub serves as the Company Health and Safety Program Manager in charge of monitoring the Health and Safety Program for AES field projects and maintaining required Health and Safety protocols for all company personnel. He prepares and reviews the Health and Safety Plans for AES landfill construction projects and keeps up to date with health agency requirements for maintaining safety.
Michael brings 42 years of experience in investigations, permitting, engineering design, and CQA programs for earthworks, landfill liners, final covers, groundwater monitoring systems, landfill siting, and associated civil improvements at dozens of landfill sites in California. He has served as Lead Geologist for a number of landfills geotechnical and hydrogeologic investigation projects including Frank R. Bowerman, Olinda Alpha, and Prima Deshecha Landfills in Orange County, Taft Landfill in Kern County, and San Timoteo Landfill in San Bernardino County. He has served as Project Manager, Design Manager, and CQA Manager for several cell expansion projects including CQA projects at Foothill and North County Landfills in San Joaquin County, Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility in Butte County, 8 cell expansion projects and 2 landslide remediation projects at the Frank R. Bowerman landfill in Orange County and liner projects at the San Timoteo, Landers, and Savage Canyon landfills. Michael has also served as Construction Manager on cell expansion projects including San Timoteo Sanitary Landfill, Landfarm liner construction at the Landers Sanitary Landfill, and closure of Apple Valley and Big Bear Sanitary Landfills for County of San Bernardino.
