Mark Shafiyoon has 24 years of experience as Field Geologist and CQA Monitor on landfill expansion and closure projects and wastewater treatment and related facilities projects. He has provided CQA services for 10+ liner expansion projects including four phases of Frank R. Bowerman (FRB) Landfill, two phases of San Timoteo Sanitary Landfill, Puente Hills Landfill Phase 6 liner, and Mesquite Regional Landfill Phase 1 liner. He served as the Lead CQA Monitor for six landfill closure projects including OII Landfill, Puente Hills Landfill, Calabasas Landfill, two phases of Olinda Alpha Landfill, and Bakersfield Landfill. He also provided geotechnical CQA services for Valencia, Saugus, Lancaster, and San Jose Creek Water Reclamation Plants for Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts. Mark is a GSI-certified CQA Inspector for geosynthetics and compacted clay liners (CCLs) and is also a certified ACI Level I Inspector.
