Greg Raymer, PG, CEG has 32 years of experience as an engineering geologist in Southern California. His experience includes a diversity of projects with an emphasis in field investigations, landslide investigations slope stability evaluations, fault studies, geologic mapping and earthquake damage assessments for infrastructure, waste management and other public works projects. He has developed and managed site investigation programs for grading, tunnel, road and landfill expansion projects and managed staff in the execution of project tasks. He has performed geologic mapping on a number of landfill grading projects, including current Phase 3-2 and 4 expansion for San Timoteo Sanitary Landfill, four phases of composite liner and landslide stabilization projects for FRB Landfill, and two extraction well projects and four final cover evaluation projects for Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts.
He led a team of field geologists during geotechnical and construction materials investigations for $2.3 million program for Master Plan Development for the Mesquite Regional Landfill. Greg also served as the Lead Geologist for a number of geotechnical and groundwater investigation projects at OC Waste & Recycling’s FRB Landfill site responsible for geologic mapping, logging of deep exploratory borings, installation of monitoring wells, piezometers, and inclinometers, and performing landslide and faulting studies. He has also been the Lead Geologist in similar role for County of San Bernardino’s San Timoteo Sanitary Landfill and other closed landfills. He is well recognized for his thorough, accurate geologic logging, mapping, and geologic interpretation skills.
